CHAPTER 2
The following morning Amelia woke feeling very much like her old self. Still rather confused as to what her illness was and why she recovered so quickly, although she had a good idea as to why, she set about getting the breakfast ready. About an hour later, Richard and Elisha stirred, she had already put the kettle on, knowing Richard always loved a good hot strong cup of tea first thing in the morning, “It’s what really wakes me up and gets me ready for the rest of the day” he would say. However, this morning Richard didn’t look too good; he was rather pale and looked very tired.
“Morning darling, how’re you feeling?” Amelia sounded very concerned.
“Not sure, actually.” said Richard
“Didn’t you sleep very well? You look very tired.”
