CHAPTER 3 Ten years on, and Amelia couldn’t believe how much had changed in such a short time. Elisha was a grown woman, and what a beauty she had grown into; her father would have been so proud. With the money which had been left over from her inheritance Amelia had bought a little shop in the village and had opened an Apothecary. At first the villagers hadn’t known what to make of it, a shop selling herbal remedies, however, those who bought from Amelia when she and Richard were on the road found it a lot easier, as they just bought what they needed, rather than stocking up. Word soon got around even people from outside the village came to purchase remedies. With Amelia’s knowledge of the herbs and plants and Richard’s books, Amelia was a proud owner of a successful little business.
