“What do you mean one of the first?” asked Donald.
Bobby told his mother and father the story of what happened at the shop; they all laughed, but even so, Elisha was still a little uneasy.
Elisha was so grateful they didn’t stay long and once they got outside she sighed with relief. “Is everything okay, you seemed on edge?” Bobby was very concerned for her.
“I’m fine; it’s all a bit new for me.” She didn’t want to hurt Bobby’s feelings by saying she hadn’t felt comfortable there.
Back at the cottage Amelia was so excited for them both, but noticed there was something not quite right with Elisha. Bobby and Elisha were out the front saying good-bye to one another “Is everything okay, Elisha? You don’t seem as excited as you were in the shop.” He hoped Elisha hadn’t changed her mind.
