“I can’t thank you enough.” Rob rubbed his elbow. This was the eighth time he’d thanked me. James, Danny, Gracie, and Arthur had just finished moving Thomas’s crib and Hallie’s little bed into the spare rooms at my old house. To be expedient, I’d opted just to leave most of my furniture there. I’d only owned it six months. I had no sentimental attachment, except maybe to the recliner. And the bed.
