May the Sun Freeze Over

Chapter 1- The beginning

They destroyed everything. The sun, moon, and the stars, all of it gone. All that's left is the silence of the Milky Way and a small spaceship carrying the last survivors, which is actually where this story begins.

Hi, my name's Melissa, and we're currently searching for other Milky Way for a suitable planet for us to take refuge. We passed by a few planets that we thought would suit us perfectly. The only problems were the land and the oxygen levels. Every planet's oxygen was either too low or just non-existent, and if the oxygen was just about right, the land would be horrible and unable to be used for crops.

Oh, right! I forgot to tell you about my crew mates. First up, Josh. He's a cool guy, always trying to stay chill and nonchalant, even in ruthless situations. Then we have Mark. He’s a total ass sometimes, but I know it’s because he cares about us. Some more than others, if you catch my drift. Up next is Charlie. She's a sweetheart, always making sure to check in on all of us and trying to help when she can. Don't tell her I said this, but she's my favorite out of the other crew mates. After her is me and finally we have the twins. Clark and Lunae are the pranksters of us all. You would think with all this searching, we wouldn’t have much time to pull stunts like these two, but they always find a way.

There are more, but they don’t matter as of right now.

“Hey, Melissa. We found another planet,” yelled Clark from the control room. Oh right, I forgot to tell you about our current situation. We’re currently in another Milky Way, searching yet again for a place to call home. Wish us luck!
