Victor's smile sent a shiver down Emily's spine. He was tall, with piercing eyes that seemed to see right through her, and a lean, athletic build that spoke of power and strength. "Welcome, Emily," he said, his voice low and smooth. "I've been waiting for you." Emily's instincts told her to be wary, but she was determined to see this through. She took a step forward, her eyes locked on Victor's. "What do you want?" she asked, her voice firm. Victor's smile grew wider, and he took a step closer. "I want to offer you a deal," he said, his voice low and seductive. "A deal that will give you everything you ever wanted." Emily's heart was racing, her mind spinning with possibilities. What could Victor possibly offer her? And what would be the cost? "I'm listening," she said, her voice firm. Victor's eyes gleamed, and he took another step closer. "I'll give you the power to take down Ryder's pack," he said, his voice low and menacing. "And I'll give you a place by my side, as my queen." Emily's instincts screamed at her to run, to get as far away from Victor as possible. But a part of her was tempted, oh so tempted. To be the most powerful wolf in the forest, to have the strength and the power to do whatever she wanted... "I'll think about it," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Victor's smile returned, and he nodded, his eyes cr crling at the corners. "I'll give you a week to decide," he said, his voice low and smooth. "But be warned, Emily, I won't be ignored." As Victor turned to leave, Emily saw Lucas standing in the shadows, his eyes locked on hers. He gave her a small nod, and then he was gone, disappearing into the trees. Emily was left standing there, her heart pounding, her mind racing. What had she just gotten herself into?
