His wolf stirred, howling in his head. It yearned for Reene. For her scent, her beautiful eyes, her small figure, the feeling of her wrist in his hand. All it wanted at the moment was to have her close by. That was the effect of the mate bond. It was, by far, the strongest bond known to life. But how was he to do this? How was he to get a human to accept something like that, when she'd obviously not known about werewolves till a few days ago. How was he to get her to be with him when she didn't seem to have even the slightest of feelings towards him. When the sound of making an oath scared her. ‘I don't care how, but you have to get her.’ His wolf growled in his head. Ah, damn the thing. It made it sound easy. Zayne couldn't blame his wolf though. In fact, he felt pity for it.
