JuniorBruce

Gradually, flashes of the crazy one-night stand Bruce had with Aria after she saved his life that fateful night played in his memory. “I have a son?” The realization struck him, and he was determined to protect Bruce Junior at all costs. “His pulse is very weak! I don’t want to lose my son! Please, let’s take him to the hospital!” Bruce glanced at the boy quickly, and the strange illness looked very familiar to him. But it wasn’t long before the boy began to shake vigorously as though he was about to start convulsing. “Bruce?! Do something! He is dying!” Aria begged, but things got worse as blood began to ooze from the boy’s mouth. “They must have given him peanuts.” Bruce said confidently after observing the boy closely. “What?! What the hell are you talking about?!” Aria’s panic lingered, especially when the blood didn’t stop pouring. “He is allergic to peanuts, Aria. Hold him still, I will be right back.” Bruce instructed Enzo while he grabbed one of the bags he came back with. He took out a small bottle containing a white substance which he quickly applied all over the pores on the boy’s body, and then he pressed very hard on his chest. Soon after, the boy stopped shaking to the disbelief of his mother who saw that the blood had stopped pouring, and his heartbeat had become normal. The pores all over his body also vanished within a few seconds. “How did you know he is allergic to peanuts?” Aria asked, wondering why she hadn’t taken note of that for ten years, but she had never given him peanuts since he was born. “I am his father, Aria. I am allergic to peanuts as well.” Bruce explained, covering the lid of the bottle he was holding. “And what’s inside that bottle?” Aria’s curiosity lingered after she discovered that the white substance had a flavored smell. “This is a mixture of cinnamon, some garlic, scented leaves, and raw milk.” Bruce equally had gifted hands that could cure any type of disease. He learned this alongside his military prowess, making him inevitable. “Come on, let’s take him inside. He needs to rest.” Bruce carried the boy to one of the rooms in his mansion where he laid him on the bed. For a long time, he stared at the boy, a nostalgic and warmth feeling rushed into his body. “I am a father.” He whispered only to his hearing, and it wasn’t long before a smile appeared on his face Aria walked in a few seconds later, and Bruce couldn’t even stop staring at the boy until she cleared his throat to draw his attention. “I can’t believe this is you, Bruce. I thought I was never going to see you. I thought you abandoned me and left.” “That would have been callous of me, Aria. I am sorry that you had to suffer to raise our son alone. But I promise that you don’t have to do this alone. You have me now.” Bruce meant his words, and Aria could see the honesty in his blue eyes. She sighed in great relief, her hope had been finally restored. “I have one more favor to ask.” She said quietly as though she wasn’t sure Bruce was going to be willing to help. “What is it? I will do it.” Aria hesitated for a while, but when she saw that Bruce was her only chance, she decided to talk to him. “My parents…” She sniffled. “What about them?” Bruce moved closer, giving her a concerned look. “My father has been locked up in the City Penitentiary, and my mother has been forced to work for a very wealthy man who has refused to let her go until she pays what she owes him. I beg you…” “I will help you,” Bruce responded before she could finish her words. “Thank you so much, Bruce! Thank you!” “You don’t need to mention, Aria. You literally saved my life.” Bruce gently led her to the bed and sat her down. “You just stay here and wait for me. I will be back with your parents. What's the man’s name? The one who has your mother.” “William Reynold.” Bruce scoffed. “I know him, he is not a big deal.” William was Lucas’ Grandfather, and that made Bruce’s desire to save the poor woman stronger. He quickly left the building and headed for the prison which had only an hour before it was going to be locked according to the City rules which existed before he was imprisoned. Before Bruce was accused of killing the previous Mayor of Pinewood, he was known as the wealthiest bachelor who was admired by all. Ever since he was imprisoned, his image had been greatly tarnished, and everyone hurriedly forgot how he helped most of the poor people in the city. His arrival at the City’s Penitentiary drew a lot of attention, and soon seven armed Prison officers surrounded him as though it was a siege. “Who dares to come to this place like they own it!” A cracked voice spoke before the Chief Warden Murphy revealed himself. “Look who we have here!” He was excited to see Bruce, but that was because he was indirectly involved in the plot that took him to Red Dungeon. “Have you come to surrender yourself to us? I didn’t believe it myself when I learned that you had been released.” Murphy had been keeping close tabs on Bruce ever since he signed the letter that sent him to Red Dungeon. But he could no longer do that after he was freed by Ace Decker. “I am here to see someone. I wonder why these amateur men are pointing these rusty guns at me.” Bruce responded calmly, keeping his eyes on the reason why he was there. His words angered the men, but there was something about his aura that couldn’t let them take a step further. “Visiting hours are over. Leave before I lock you up.” “That’s not correct. I still have about thirty minutes.” Bruce said after looking at his wristwatch. “Are you trying to teach me my job?! I call the shots here, and if I say visiting hours are over, visiting hours are over!” Murphy moved closer to Bruce and spat very close to his shoes. The action made the General very angry, and he decided that he was going to teach him a lesson. “What are you going to do? Huh? You can’t visit anyone, and that’s final.” Bruce chuckled confidently, giving Murphy a reason to glance at himself, thinking that he was looking disheveled. “What’s funny? Did I c***k a joke?” “Of course, not.” Bruce scoffed. “You are the joke.” “I am not here to visit someone. I am actually here to free him.” Murphy soon burst out laughing and his men joined him while Bruce maintained his composure, unbothered by their demeanor. “You are crazy, and I will teach you a lesson.” Murphy snarled and turned to his men. “Boys? Take this man and throw him into one of the cells!”
