Landon’s POV
We all followed the doctor until he pointed us to a room down the hall.
“Now remember, she might be a bit hazy so not too many questions all at once.”
“Of course, thank you, doctor,” I spoke.
With silent steps, we walked into the very bright room and were met by Kimberly who was facing the windows. Her head slowly turned in our direction once she heard us enter and a big smile, that I couldn’t figure out was fake or not, erupted on her face.
“Hey guys,” she croaked out, her voice hoarse.
“Hey, how are you feeling?” Cherry asked, edging a bit closer to her bed.
“Better now,” she answered with a sigh.
“Do you remember anything? Anything at all?” Jack asked and she shook her head.
