Marie stayed for a few hours chatting with me about everything from marriage to the rose garden until Landon informed her that I needed to rest. She was not happy about her departure but she got up with a sigh, plastered a smile on her face, and wished me well until the next time she would be seeing me. I promised her to come by as soon as I was feeling better.
