Chapter 30Kaela and Shelby ran to Georgia and she wrapped them in her arms. They began to cry. “What does he want with us, Mommy?” Kaela asked. “He's not interested in you girls, only me. We're going to be fine.” Georgia didn't feel the conviction she used to reassure them. She remembered the look Pearson gave them. He only grabbed them as pawns to force her to come with him. He was unpredictable and now that he had her, had no more use of them. She shuddered at the prospect that came to mind. She glanced around the room.
