I woke up with a start. Jolting awake in shock before noticing my surroundings and realising that I’m in my bedroom. It took me a moment to remember what happened the night before. I pulled the sheets up to check for any injuries as the norm after Laxton spent the night with me. I was relieved to find nothing. I was wearing my pajamas. My body even felt and looked clean!
I looked around and nearly screamed in shock when I saw Alex sitting on the ground between my wardrobe and my bed, his head hanging low.
