“Sometimes when Maddox is in control, I would struggle to take control…”
“You mean all the time?”
He kissed my hair, melting my heart.
“Well, whenever he takes control, I will struggle to take it back. Sometimes, I could take back control for maybe an hour or half of that. Sometimes, I could persuade him to come here and see this. Whenever he is here, he seems to be calmer. Most of the time, I am able to regain full control. Sometimes, he will stay in control but he is calmer here and away from people. So it is safer for others.”
