Maddox finally stopped pacing around and gave control back to Alex. Alex shifted to his human form and put on his clothes as well.
I made him sit on a boulder while I sat opposite him with his hands in mine. I’m going to do this, therapy style.
“I heard what both of you said. You cannot really believe that Audrey put a spell on me?” Alex started poking me immediately.
“Well, I think that we won’t know until we do. So why don’t we address that first?” I hesitated before tilting my head to the side. “Could you at least tell me what happened when Maddox first took over?”
