“Wow, what the hell was that all about?” I asked Alex who was still staring at where the rest of the pack had walked away. He sighed and led me out, back to the main circle.
“Derrick had a mate. She wanted to make changes too but our pack was not ready. There was an attack while I was away. My council members could not end it on time. She died in the attack. Derrick had not accepted any of our help ever since.”
“Is there anyone else who manages the pack with him?”
“He has his Gamma and Delta but they are old. They are all old and due to handover their positions to their sons. I am not sure why they have not done so.”
