I watched Ellie sobbing over Mark with Bella and Lea beside her. I shuddered when I thought of how painful it would be if my mate bond with Bella breaks. Closing my eyes, I tried to get rid of the uncomfortable feeling in my heart. We were in the middle of the battlefield but I got separated from her, stupidly chasing after their leader and found Hadid here instead. How could I have believed that Bella would stay where she was?
