“Alex!” I called after him as he stalked away.
He slowed down until I caught up with him.
“Where are you going?”
“I do not want to punch him.”
I laughed, “He’s still the Overlord, I don’t think you could land that punch.”
He side eyed me. I sniggered before pulling his arms. He stopped walking and I immediately hugged him. My head only reached his chest, his heart thumped into my ear and his warmth flooded through me.
“I know you’re agitated but let’s remember that he’s the Overlord?” I murmured with my cheek pressed flush against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me then opened up our mind link.
Alex: Until I become the Overlord.
