Bella “Hi Alex,” I greeted him politely. “Hi Bella,” he replied cheekily, echoing me. I huffed at him. Then I turned to continue my work. I have tons to do before I leave with him in a couple of days. “Do you have time tonight?” he asked out of the blue. “Ya sure, I just need to be back for training. Oh, and meet with Laxton’s parents,” I answered him, not looking up from my documents. He seemed to be satisfied with my answer and started to walk out. Surprised that he’s leaving so soon, I stopped him: “Alex, we need to get behind the matter of this migration. I feel like there’s something bigger at play. I don’t think Voss is the mastermind behind this,” I asked. He turned back, nodding his head in agreement. He told me that we may get more answers with the packs southwest from us.
