Tyra POV
I am in and out of my head throughout the night. I think Alpha is here waking me, but I am so out of my head that I cannot be sure. I hear my name, open my eyes, say I am okay, and then go back to sleep. When I close my eyes, I see Austin and his mighty fist going into my face. I do not understand. I was willing to give him everything, and yet it was not enough. I am so stupid. How can I be so smart and so stupid at the same time? I graduated with honors. I went to med school. I was top of my class, and now I am lying in a bed with the worst headache I have ever had in my life after being beat by a man I was willing to give my all to for nothing. I am stupid.
I raise my body and sit on the side of the bed. It was Alpha all night checking on me. He is sleeping soundly in a chair
