Episode #4 “Ladies and Gentle. Tonight is the night where you decide. America. Who will be our Creeper Champion? There's no place like home. Meredith Brooks. From Hollywood, California, the killer smile superstar Zane Monroe.” Both Creepers walked on stage. The audience cheered madly. Both bowed. Smiled and walked over to a table. There they sat. The host sat as well. Zane looked confident and eager, and Meredith looked a little nervous. “Tonight we are going to do something unheard of. For the first time ever, in conjunction with Deathday Greeting Cards and Chainsaw Books, we are going to have both Creepers walk us through the day that they killed. The winner's biography will be put in the book. As well as a summer blockbuster movie deal.” The audience went wild. “First up. Meredith Brooks.” She walked toward a chair. Zane was escorted to the green room. As she sat on the empty stage, the lights glistened. Two men walked out. They started hooking up wires. "Just to be on the up and up." The host's voice echoed. "We are hooking you up to a polygraph machine. This way, we can see if you are telling the truth." “Tell us, Meredith. How did you kill your siblings?” Meredith smiled. “Er okay, like I was sitting there listening to those kids whine and cry. I'm hungry. I'm thirsty. Crying. So I like had a brilliant idea or whatever.” Shifting in her seat. “One day Tanya, my little b***h sister, was crying. She wanted a drink. So I'm like okay. I went to get her some vodka. I looked just about everywhere I could. I was about to give up when I looked under the sink. I looked in the dark. That's when I found some poison under the counter. So I pour a quarter of it into her drink. Her twin came in and saw Tanya drinking. Jealous, she asked for one too. So I did the same thing to her drink. ” There were “Oh's” and “Awes.” From the audience. “Then the baby started crying. My b***h mom was like doing this guy or whatever. So I put vodka in his bottle, mixed it with poison, and fed it to the baby. I waved to the baby as my brother slowly succumbed." Some of the audience laughed. "I guess my mom and the f**k of the week finished. I took the remaining poison and mixed it in with the vodka." I started to screw the lid on. My mother's door burst open. "No good f*****g rotten kids. Where's my bottle?" She screamed. "My mom came out of her room half naked into the living room. She reached for the vodka." She turned to me and screamed. "You're too f*****g young to be drinking." The rage grew in me. "f**k you, ya old ass hag. Go f**k your no good f*****g s**t-stained boyfriend." My mom slapped me. "Oh, go f**k yourself you little bitch." I waited. I was calm on the outside, but the rage grew. I waited until I could hear my mother's stupid ass voice. They both got drunk. I watched with a triumphant smile. The stupid f**k nuggets drank and drank." "After a long time, both of them slumped over. I went to the kitchen. I grabbed a knife. Not really a weapon I would use normally. This was a special occasion." I walked over to her new f**k buddy. She saw me coming." "Her eyes showed rage and worry. I laughed. I pulled his hair, his head rolled backward. I slashed his head off." She made a gesture in the air. The crowd clapped. "I wanted to do something special for my mother. The b***h deserved it." I smiled. I leaned closer to her ear. "You are dying. You selfish b***h. I hope it hurts. I hope you die slowly." Once again Meridith raised her hands above her head. "I took the knife and plunged it into her chest. Over and over, the blood sprayed my face like a wave from the ocean. I enjoyed every single minute of the bloody shower." Meridith sat in light relishing the memory to a very sick degree. The audience clapped halfheartedly. Meridith slowly deflated. They seemed kind of bored. The host smiled. “Oh my, that was simply amazing. Meredith thank you for sharing.” Meredith got up and left.”We will meet Zane after this commercial break.” The commercial break ended. “Welcome back to Fade to Black. Now hailing from Hollywood, California. Zane Monroe.” The audience cheered and clapped loudly. Ladies in the audience screamed and cheered. “Zane, you're going to win it.” The audience chanted. “You deserve it. You deserve it.” Zane waved and smiled. The host gestured for him to sit down. Zane and the host sat after a hearty handshake. “Zane, you're quite the lady's man. If you win, do you think you will get married again?” Zane laughed. “Sure I'll take a stab at it.” The audience laughed. “Zane have my baby.” The host smiled. The host looked at Zane as the polygraph was hooked up. The host leaned close to Zane. Smiling, he asked. “Tell us, Zane. Why did you kill your family?” Zane flashed his smile. The women in the audience sighed.“Well, first off, thank you Kill Wear for the great clothes. I'm set for life. My family? No, I didn't hate them, I loved them. It wasn't hard. As we sat at the table, my family talked. Oh yes, life is great. The same old drawn old forced family bullshit. I wasn't tired of my wife. She was smart, sassy, and sexy. My son was the only joy in my life. My brother and sister were very supportive of me. Through scouts, sports, and my education. We were a tight family. My nieces and nephew were cute. So lovable. They were the love of my life. The future of my family, like my son.” The host smiled. “More. More.” The audience chanted with the host. Zane sighed. "Well, it was when dad passed around the plates after he carved the turkey. I grabbed the knife and put it through his hand. My family started laughing. I pulled it out of his and sliced his throat. My mother pointed, laughing hard as she fell to the ground. I jumped on her, plunging the knife into her chest. I next went to my brother, stabbing him in the ear. His wife well I just slammed it through the side of her neck. My sister grabbed the knife and held it to her chest, so I slammed her down on the table. Pulling her back, I grabbed the knife. Her husband put it through his neck. Grandpa and Grandma got it in the stomach. I stabbed them so much that there was very little skin left. My nieces and nephews, I snapped their little necks as easily as getting dressed, The audience clapped and cheered. "I took the carving knife and sliced their femoral arteries. I watch the blood flow out of them. Permanente smiles on their faces. My wife and son were the last.” The audience was hanging onto every word. They cheered at each kill. The adrenaline and dopamine flooded their bodies. Getting worked up into a rage. “You're amazing. You're amazing.” Zane blushed brightly. He tried to rise but the wires stopped him from doing so. “My wife was very easy. I kicked her in the face. She fell to the floor. I straddled her using the knife. I opened her up from the breast bone down to her abdomen vertically. Slicing horizontally, I reached into her stomach, pulling out her intestine.” Zane shuddered. “My son looked at me. I walked up to him in his high chair. Stroking his head, blood was left on his cheek. I put the knife to his tiny throat. My wife looked me in the eye. Do it. Please do it. She pleaded. I took the knife and cut so deep into his throat that I hit his spinal cord. My wife smiled. She said. Thank you, and she died.” The audience stood up cheering. Some were crying. The host waved his hands. “Okay, ladies and gentlemen. Those at home will now vote. Will Meredith The Bell From Hell Brooks win? Or will it be Zane Superstar Monroe? Cast your votes by text, email, or phone. If you call in on the dial pad press, 1 for Meredith or 2 for Zane. Polls close in fifteen minutes. Good luck. Stay tuned to Fade to Black.” The commercial ran. Meredith and Zane walked backstage. Meredith sighed. “Looks like you have this all but won or whatever. If I give up, maybe I can choose my own death?” Zane frowned. “You never know. You just might win.” Meredith half smiled. “Easy for you or whatever. You have it all. The looks, the crowd, and the kill count.” Zane flashed his smile. “You killed kids. How badass is that?” Meredith flashed a rare smile. “Err... yeah whatever you dork.” The host came to them. We are coming back sooner than we thought. Come with me on stage.” The audience cheered. The host came out. “Ladies and gentlemen, we have an unprecedented event. All of our phone lines have been overloaded. We will not be able to count all the votes.” Meredith smiled. “No, I'm just f*****g with you. We have had a new record of vote tallies. The clear and record-setting winner is Zane Monroe.” Zane walked to the center of the stage. The host asked Zane, “What do you choose? Do you want to retire or try to be Creeper Champion?” Zane smiled. In the middle of the stage, in the spotlight, he looked out at his cheering, adoring fans. This was his dream. He was the final Creeper. He could go home and live with fame forever. The narcissist in him took over. “I think... I think I'm going to try to become the Creeper Champion.” The crowd stood cheering. “Very well,” said the host. “Next week you will move on to our seasonal finale.” Zane walked off stage. The host looked at Meridith. “Now Meredith Brooks the runner-up of this season, we have a special prize for you. As a tribute to the dead, your death will be Zyklon B. One sniff and your death will be all but assured.” Meredith walked to a chamber. She walked in and sat in the chair smiling. “Today is an honorable day to die.” A man walked in strapping her down. He walked out and sealed the door. The cameras inside showed her sitting there. “Do you have any final words?” Meredith opened her mouth to speak. “Yes, I do...” The pellet dropped, as she breathed in deep. “Oh f**k me.” The poison caused her to slowly suffocate. Her hands jerked her gasping breath. She started having seizures. Her breathing stopped. The crowd cheered. “Our final contestant is chosen. Next week he will go heads up with last season's champion. Tune in next week to see our finale. Thank you for watching Fade to Black.”
