  Mid-conversation with another man who was dressed in a smart suit, he must have felt a pair of eyes on him, as Jace turned his attention to me. As I was about to raise a hand to be polite and give a brief hello, he turned away from me, continuing his conversation and leading the men through some nearby double-doors.   I guessed that was that, and that Jace didn��t veer far from the stereotype that I had of men in my mind. He had just been after one thing, and when he hadn��t got it, simply wasn��t interested.
