  Pressing the button on the gates of my parent’s home, the ding of the bell radiated through the intercom, and after a moment, the gates sprung to life and allowed me to enter the property.   As the dim lighting of the evening set in, I drove up the driveway toward the house, and the stream of light emanating from my headlights paved the way. Pulling up outside the house, it was a beautiful Georgian-style property that was picturesque in both architecture and landscape.   Getting out of the vehicle and locking it behind me, I walked up to the front door, and before I could ring the bell, my mum opened it up to greet me.   “Becca!” she beamed, outstretching her arms.
