Chapter 2

After leaving the barber's, Olivia came to the cafeteria and attracted immediate attention. "Who is that chick? She's gutsy to shave her head." "When did we have such a tough woman?" Olivia heard their whispers but chose to turn a deaf ear. Carrying her plate, she found an empty seat. As soon as she was seated, a group of people came over. "I'm looking for you. Damn! You had your head shaved." "You're crazy, Omega! You're in the mood to eat when you haven't finished Gina's task yet." Those who had rounded up Olivia in the morning came back. "As I said, I can't bring it in. Even Gina can't get it. How can I possibly make it?" Olivia said in a calm voice. Slap. The person standing closest to her slapped her across the face. "You're in no place to question us." Olivia jerked her head away before she stood up and repeated, "I'll say it again. I can't get the thing she wants." "Damn! This peasant doesn't know her place. Let's teach her a lesson!" Olivia tried to leave, but someone grabbed her arm. She grabbed back and did a neat power slam. "Ah!" Everyone was shocked by her move. Olivia took the chance to hurry back to her cell. Gina, who had received the message, was standing by her bunker, waiting for her return. With her hands in her pockets, Gina looked at her and sneered, "I heard you were bodacious today. And I can't get the stuff I need." Olivia went over and said, in a polite manner, "I can't bring in the m*******a as you asked." Once the words were out of her mouth, there was a round of gasps. Gina laughed, kicked the things off the bunker, and bent down before she lunged over and throttled Olivia. She couldn't help but grab the hand that was choking her. "Mm..." The faint sound of struggle coming from her throat seemed to please Gina. Just as she was going to let go, Gina yanked her forward. The woman put her mouth to Olivia's ear and threatened her in a relaxed yet wicked tone, "Do you have a death wish, Olivia?" "I... Mm..." When her throat was clutched, she couldn't complete her speech. She exerted strength, leaving two bloody scratches on Gina's hand, forcing the latter to let go. When she could breathe again, she gasped for air like a whale. "Karf... Karf..." "Dani is right after all. You're so bold to take me on now." Gina squeezed her neck once again, and the choking sensation came back. She breathed with difficulty. When her consciousness was clouded, a forlorn sigh echoed in the depths of her mind. "Dear Ollie, I'm Rachel, your wolf. It hurts me to wake up to see this. How could you let the scum bully you like this?" "Rachel, they have always taken me for trash who can be trampled by anyone." "Ollie! Use your strength to show them that you're not a doormat. Fight back! Make them suffer!" Rachel said, raising her voice. The awakening of her wolf encouraged the harmless woman. When she was the most desperate, her wolf gave her infinite courage. She snapped her eyes open and enunciated, "I'll be punished if I'm caught bringing in marijuana." Gina asked her to do that while knowing it was against the law. If it were found out, she would be the only person to suffer. "That's what we've kept a loser like you for," Gina snorted and bent down to pat her cheek, "You have three days to do it, or your love children will suffer outside." As soon as her voice died away, Olivia's eyes flashed with a strange color. She raised her hand and slapped the former in the face. Before the woman could react, Olivia pounced on her, pinned her down on the ground, and throttled her. She exerted her full strength and smirked when she saw Gina's flushed face. "I'll give you the answer now. I can't get the thing you want, and if you dare get your hands on my children, I'll take your life." Her sudden attack took everyone by surprise. Noticing Dani and others' intention to rush over, she shouted, "Don't move! Or I'll strangle her now!" Just then, Gina's knee hit her back and knocked her over. She tumbled to the left into the corner, grabbed her toothbrush, and thrust it forward to stab Gina's arm. The blood spurted on the wall the moment it was pulled out. "Ah! You lowly Omega!" She fended off Gina's punches and found her chance to leave bloody holes in Gina's body with the sharp end of the toothbrush. "Ah!" The constant screams appalled the crowd. She grabbed Gina's bloody hands and pressed the sharp toothbrush against the carotid aorta of the latter's neck. "Olivia! Calm down! We can talk it out!" "Forget about the m*******a. I won't force you or hurt your children." Listening to Gina's faint voice, Olivia chuckled, glanced at her cronies, and snapped, "I won't pursue what happened in the past, but if any of you dare cause me trouble again, I'll show you no mercy." With that, she pushed Gina away and kicked her in the back. "Get out!" With the fight, Olivia rose to fame. No one in the prison dared mess with her again. Her life became much easier, and her enemies avoided her as much as they could. Just as she was planning her early release, the news of her mother's death came. Elena bailed her out. On the day she left prison, she didn't ask Elena to pick her up but entrusted the latter to take care of her mother's funeral. She promised to join Elena with her children. Her first stop was Aiden's house. She went there in a taxi. No one was there to stop her as she entered the luxurious villa. The first floor was empty, and faint voices came from the second floor. Without hesitation, she rushed upstairs and opened the door to the master bedroom. What came into view were the naked bodies of her mate and a blonde. "Aiden!" Her heart sank to the bottom. What Elena said was true. Before this, she had clung to an illusion. The reality then dealt her a heavy blow. "Olivia! How did you get out of jail?" Aiden was flabbergasted. "Where are my children?" She clasped her fingers, forcing herself to calm down. Aiden came to his senses and eluded her gaze. "The nanny took them out for fun." Olivia took a few steps forward. She glanced at the woman and sneered, "Is this how you wait with the children for me to come back? Is this how you fulfill your promise?" "Humph, you deserve it! You volunteered to serve jail time for me. I didn't force you!" Aiden scoffed. "Why should I wait for you? Where is your hair, huh? You're looking like a freak." He wrapped his arm around the blonde woman and sized up the thin Olivia with a grin. "Why should I live like a widower for a skeleton like you while I have a stunner to choose from?" His words pricked her heart like needles. She fought back her tears, forcing her to ignore his ridicule, and asked again, "Where are my children?" While he was faltering, the nanny heard the noise and came upstairs. Olivia turned around and bellowed, "Where are my children?" The nanny shivered and blurted out, "They have been sent to the orphanage." Olivia took a few steps back and looked at Aiden in disbelief. "The orphanage is full of children. They'll have fun." Rachel cursed upon hearing that. Unable to hold back anymore, Olivia rushed over and slapped him hard before she slammed the door shut and left. Following the address given by the nanny, she came to the Angel Orphanage and spotted her children as soon as she entered the courtyard. They were on the ground, being bellied. She rushed over and helped them up. Nina and Reece were both skinny. The floral dress Nina was wearing was tattered and bleached. Her hands were covered in bruises, and her knee was bleeding from the fall just now. Olivia took out the tissues from her pocket and wiped off the dirt for her daughter. Reese was standing here at a loss. The collar of his shirt was broken and saggy. Without saying a word, he wiped his face but smeared it with blood. With tears in her eyes, she wiped Reese's face and said, with a broken heart, "You're safe now, my babies. I'll protect you and will not let anyone bully you again." She held her children, swearing that she would make Aiden pay.
