Job Hunting

Meanwhile Ruth feels weird of Blaze call. But nonetheless, she started her job hunting. Sending her resume to different company though email.

"Ruth why are you home so early?" Nami interrupted her... She was curious to see her daughter in law this early at home and was a little worried as well.. "Did something went wrong?"

"Mom, I'm sorry, but please don't be worried... I declined ABZ's offer, but, rest assured, will surely look for another job in no time" Ruth smiled at her mom, feeling a little worried that her mom would ask her for the reason of turning down ABZ's offer. She really couldn't tell her mom the reason why, she must be unreasonable but she doesn't want things to go complicated as well..

Thus, she closed her laptop, suddenly stand and ask her mom of what she wants for lunch.

Nami was not fool either, she knows Ruth very well. She was aware that her actions right now was deliberate to avoid her further questioning. She just smiled at Ruth, and doesn't expose her this time.

Ruth went to the kitchen, while Nami went outside holding her phone.

"Ivan, what exactly happened? Nami anxiously asked Ivan though the phone..

" Aunt Nami, how are you.... I.. I don't know either, I'm not aware of what's happening, she just decline the offer, I guess she no longer want to work with boss Blaze. She insisted that she doesn't suits the job. Blaze was furious at me right now.. Aunt Nami, you can only convinced her for me, please... I don't want to loose my job either. " Ivan can only plead her Aunt and be hopeful of her aunts help right now

" I can't assure you either, but I'll try to talk to her, bye Ivan. " Nami sighs, and can only thought deeply as to what Ruth's reasons for not accepting the job. She knows Ruth was not that unreasonable, and she couldn't even just interfere on her daughter's decision. She will just let things happen and wait for her to explain everything as she knows her too much, she wouldn't talk things to her unless she needs her opinion, she will not bother her as long as she can handle things herself.

Ruth knows that her mother was anxious as she overheard their conversation with Ivan, but she can't tell her mother, her reasons. She wants a peaceful life with her mom, no matter what and can only care for her mom as she promised his late husband to stay and take good care of her mother in law.

The next day, Ruth checked her email. There are 4 company who responded to her application and was scheduled for an interview. She can only choose two company as the time of the interview collided with each other. She carefully searched and invistagated these companies before choosing.

She spent the whole day running around and doing an interview. The first company she went was just ok, the secretary then told her to wait for their response. The second was the same as well. Feeling a little curious, she felt something was amiss. But, nevertheless put aside her assumption and headed home.
