Ruth's Obedience

"Mom, I want to work" .... Ruth says to Nami, as she approach her and sit beside Nami.

"Have you made up your mind already?" Nami questioned Ruth, as she was deep in thought. An idea came to her mind at instant.

Facing Ruth, "Stay for a while, have to make a call..."

Nami pulled up her phone as she left Ruth and headed to the balcony. After 5mins she went back to Ruth with a bright smile. Her eyes were shining in excitement..

Ruth who sitting on the sofa, leaned back as she relaxed. She was about to say something to her mother-in-law in law but Nami did not give her the chance to talk. She just wait for her mother-in-law in amusement. As her mother-in-law in law approaches, and saw Nami's excitement, she suddenly sit straight and look at Nami.

"Ruth, tomorrow morning, go to ABZ company and look for the secretary general Ivan, he has a job for you" Nami said to Ruth with a bright smile..

Ruth who was a little confused, furrowed her brows and asked Nami.. "Do you know him mom? I... I've already sent my application to another company, and was scheduled for an interview tomorrow" explained Ruth as she slightly smile to Nami...

"Ruth, decline that interview, trust me.. Ivan is a good friend and a relative of mine. You can also trust him my dear, at least rest assured, you'll be safe with them" Nami said in one breath, expexting Ruth to do as she says..

Ruth was always obedient to her and kind. She never doubt of her ability and honesty. With this little girl, she can always be proud of her. She doted her as her own daughter, and she knows Ruth feels the same to her.

"Ok mom, I'll do as you say" Ruth nodded and smiled to Nami

She never asked anything to Nami about her relatives nor anything about her. She trust and love this middle age woman. She believes there is a time for everything, and Nami will eventually tell her soon or might discover it herself.

Nami who expected Ruth's obedience smiled, 'well then, I believe you can do whatever job they give you. Bring your resume with you for their references."
