Chapter Twenty-One It was still dark when Sarge heard the trumpet sound three times. “We’re under attack, people!” he yelled as he rolled out of his sleeping bag. “Let’s go!” Everyone was up quickly, getting on their gear. Cateri followed Sarge out of his tent, with her bow and arrows. The sun wasn’t up yet, but it would soon be dawn. “We have to locate Liada and Tin Tin,” Sarge said, “to find out where they’re hitting us. Does anyone know where they sleep?” “I do,” Kawalski said. Sarge snapped the chinstrap on his helmet and switched on the comm. “Take extra ammo.” He counted heads to be sure everyone was ready to go. “There’s no time to saddle up.
