Chapter Fifteen
With Tin Tin and Liada learning more and more English and Autumn picking up some of their words, they were increasingly able to understand one another.
“Hey, Sarge,” Autumn said as she, Tin Tin, and Liada came back from a walk around the camp.
“Yeah, Eaglemoon. What’s up?”
“All the women in camp are going a little way up river to bathe.”

“I want to go,” Kady said.
“Me, too,” Karina said.
“And me,” Lorelei said. “I could really use a bath.”
“I volunteer for guard duty,” Kawalski said.
