Back at the station, Inspector Baron listened carefully to whoever was on the phone. His face twisted in a mix of disgust and concentration. He gave the occasional affirmation to the caller, but little else. Eventually, he hung up without saying goodbye.
"Jain." He called. The detective was checking his emails at a desk nearby.
"Listen up. PSU and CSI are at the house. They've done searches. The CSI found the blood you talked about. Not much, but there are swabs. She's getting them looked at now. PSU searched the basement and found two bodies. They're not your misper though. These bodies have been there a hell of a lot longer than a day or two. There's a CSI team and supervisor attending to deal with that. It looks like Winter might need to be arrested again, this time for a double murd
