Chapter Fifteen Emma I waited for Preston to sneak back into my room, but he never did. I felt horrible for going along with Glenn’s plan. When Preston told me he never stopped searching for me, my heart dropped. I could see the pain on his face. I was deceiving him. Since I could barely sleep, I left the balcony door open all night to feel the breeze. Once I heard movement downstairs, I changed into a pair of shorts and a T-shirt and threw my hair up in a ponytail before tiptoeing down.
