I immediately open the door and got out as soon as we reached in my apartment. I didn't bid any goodbyes or looked at him. I was furious. I saved his f*****g life and all I ever received was his f*****g egotistical outburst. This is all I get for fixing my life. I sighed deeply.
"Avery?" I looked at where the voice came from.
"Henry? You're not asleep yet?" I asked Nancy's husband. He came home a couple of days ago from the hospital. He seemed better now.
"Nancy was waiting for you. I told her that I'd wait for you instead. She's sleeping now." Henry said.
