~Roxy's pov~

I hear muffled voices I try to move but Im being held tight in someone's arms. Shortly The muffled voices turn to music. Flutes drums and guitars ring in my ears, along with laughter and rowdiness.

I open my eyes and look up, Sage is carrying me I try to move but my body feel so weak I look around and it looks like I'm at the base of the giant tree I can also smell smoke I'm guessing they have a fire going.

''Uhh look who's awake Sage"

Pann points out

''Oh what a shame I was enjoying that dream''

Sage looks down and winks at me.

"Thanks f*** it's over"

Lorcan mumbles

"Ill remember that next time you try put your hands on a womans body Brother"

"Do I even want to know?" asks Pann.

"If you want we can act it out for you and you can join in"

I'm speechless and my face is redder then a robins chest.

those hands belonged to them and if so how are they controlling my dreams.

"I think I'm ready to walk now thank you" these are the only words I can bring myself to say.

Sage puts me down and I start to take in my surroundings. I'm definitely at the base of a large tree. There are people everywhere

I'm seeing a lot skin and I swear there's a few people f**king in the other direction..

Everyone seems to be dancing and having a great time though..

So just for a minute pretending that what the three said on the ship has some truth to it. I'm now in a different world called the Never Plane these people are Lost people and I'm still cursed or does a curse follow you to a new world.. I don't know.

Pann notices my inner struggle with the information I'm trying to take in.

"I know what you're thinking and yes it sounds like it's straight out of a child's book. With the obvious M rating touch to it".

he gestures in the direction of some women on her knees..

Oh God...

"Take it out Samuel you don't know what's been in there"

Lorcan yells

The twins laugh together.

But in all seriousness i hear she is a frequent visitor to the "waters devil"

I wouldn't be using the words Darling around her guys.

Pann suggests.

"What's your name? "

"Roxy"

"I'm Lucein but everyone calls me Pann

And I'm sure you already know but the twins are Sage and Lorcan."

"I wish I could say jts nice to meet you 3 but under the circumstances..."

"Oh that wasn't your attitude while you were dreaming but"

Sage laughs and Lorcan rolls his eyes smacking his brother in the back of the head.

"Alright enough you 2 let's get her inside the Hollow. As far as the others are concerned she is just another one of the lost and is staying on our floor"

We are walking up the stairs inside the tree they refer to as the hollow It's massive on the inside.

The base is were the other lost people reside and above is a kitchen and then the top level is where Lucien and the twins stay. They show to the room I'm staying in.

"Its not much but its a warm bed and there is a bathroom just through that curtain.

Unless you want to shower infront of the rest of us"

"N..n..nono this is great thanks."

"rest up tomorrow night we will fill you In and start brain storming"

"Wait a minute

1 the sun's about to come up

2 what about the shadows

and 3 is this actually real or have I gone absolutely mad like all Darling Women.?"

My last comment catches them off guard they sort of look at each other for a moment.

"Yes this is real and you need to try wrap your head around that if you can't well.. fake it till you make it"

"Meaning act like you totally believe all that's happening and eventually youl just go with it"

I nodded at the twins

"And as for the whole night time day time thing. I can't go out in the Never sun. Yes it's Got somthing to do with your curse and no im not it explaining it to you tonight. Listen to the twins and go to sleep.

And with that the door shuts and I'm left alone in the room.

It's hexagonal shaped and one half is all windows with no glass.. but surprisingly it's not cold.

I walk over to the windows and watch the sun rise. But as soon it was in full view wooden shutters fall out of no where.

It startled me enough to let out a small scream the room was pitch black but a few seconds later my door re opens and Sage pops his head in.

He clicks his fingers and my rooms ceiling fills with stars..

I look up in awe.

"What are you people? "

"We are either your best or worse nightmare. What you do varies that. "

" if I didn't know yous could invade dreams I probably wouldn't believe you but I'll be careful" I chuckle light-heartedly

"It's okay I won't do it again, unless you ask me.."

As sage starts to close the door

"But please don't forget to ask me"

And with that the door shut.

i finally let out the breath i was holding, in my world guys that gorgeous would be illegal.

i sigh and slump onto the bed it's covered in fluffy animal furrs. It tickles but its also super comfortable I watch the stars twinkle on the ceiling.

then I recall.

("and I suppose you two are going to tell me that you're some kind of Lost Boys?

And where's your sidekick fairy?

"Not exactly there are lost boys in pans Kingdom but we're more like Lost Faye.....")

Faye.. like fairy's? Like magic? who am I kidding that's the only explanation.

how do I keep level headed with all this new information.

Steves Pov.

She made it. she's safe. thank fu**

After the shadow lost its sh!t. It completely disintegrated.

I don't know how long I've been laying here. That shadow sucked so much energy from me.

I find my barrings and stumble into Roxy's room. The only thing missing is that Family trunk. Not that it contains anything important besides a few old books.

I pull my smashed phone from my pocket thank christ it still works.

I try Jon one more time.

This time it calls out.

"Hello"

" She made it, she escaped."

"Good. Now leave town Steve. Roxy no longer exists in this world. We leave no traces"

Jon hangs up.

It hurts knowing ill probably never see Rox again. But I'm thankful for the time we spent together. I hope where ever she goes she stays safe. I pray my brother finds away to rid the family of shadows so that gender scans are no longer a death sentence and she may return home someday..

~Roxy's pov~

Hearing the clatter of wood I yawn and stretch out. Although my dreams were filled with that horrendous screech of the shadow. The bed was sooo comfy.

The wooden shades are retracting and the stars on my ceiling vanish but light is replaced by the ones in the sky. I must have gotten too warm in my sleep. The only thing I have left on are my undies. I wrap one of the soft grey furrs around my shoulders, I pinch the 2 sides together at my chest. Walking over to the balcony I hear owels amongst the trees it's so high up. I find myself getting lost staring into the distance of this beautiful place.

the world outside lights up even during the night. hmmm fake it till I make it..

~Lorcans pov~

Pann sends me to check on the Darling. Even tho My brother volunteered.

She barley flinched the first time she layed eyes on me on the ship.

The idea of a darling not being afraid of me kinda pisses me off.

I want her to be scared.

when I came up with the theory a darling may be the key to fixing Panns problem I didn't mean adopt one. I ment offer her as a sacrifice or something. But no my Brother seems to think she may awaken the bonds once again and Pann just wants to use her to continue narrowing down on how he can get his magic back.

I wonder how many generations it's been in her world since ours fell into ruins.

Sure the NeverPlane still looks beautiful from the Hollow but no new pixies are being born, that bloody hook is taking over more and more of Panns territory everyday it makes my blood boil.

As I go to storm in her room the ringing of someone intruding my head begins.

"Aye it's too early in the night to be going all dark and mad, open it gently.. ya know gently like the first lick of a...."

"Shut it get out of my head"

"Okay but just be nice.. well as nice as you can be..just.. ahh what ever"

Twin Faye telepathy can be a pain.

Sage knows Nice isn't just somthing that happens with me anymore. I mean I'm "nice" to my Brother. But since the currupt pirate attack on the Devils water that literally left its mark on me, Nice isn't what iam anymore.

Alas I do what he says opening the door silently. I peer in but the Darling isn't in her bed.. I step it and when I look up. The sight takes the breath from my lungs. Un aware staring off into the night with the moon reflecting her silver hair and pale skin she just stands there draped in furr.

I turn and shut the door. I use it to catch my balance. My hand covers my mouth and I feel the heat in my cheeks and a throb in my manhood.

I know she heard the door shut.

she knows someone else is awake. I'm done.

I head back down to the kitchen to meet up with the other 2..

i silently sit back on the stool they both stare at me...

"STOP EYE F**KING ME"

I yell.

While pann chuckles under his breath my Brothers has a smug look on his face that I just wanna smack off.

I break my silence once more

"She's awake but she needs clothes"

"WHAT?!"

"AND YOU LET HIM BE THE ONE TO CHECK ON HER"

Sage wines

Pann chokes on his drink and his eyes water, serves him right.

"Cough cough cough sage. Cough.. pick up something for the Darling to wear and try make it tasteful. Pay for it in pirate blood.

"With pleasure"

And off he goes happier then the only pirate in a wh@rehouse.

"Soooo... how was it?"

Of course he couldn't help it.

Taking a deep draw of my smoke "f*ck you dude"
