The residential building was completed in April. The opening event was a walkthrough for the developer and the sales team, and Patrick Chen invited me to attend as the designer of record. I went with Lena and Marco, both of whom had poured months of work into every unit, and we walked through the finished building together. It was good. It was the best work Clarke Design had produced. The lobby had the warmth I had fought for, materials that were considered and specific to the building's position in the neighborhood.
