Not because we needed more room yet, but because the room adjacent to the second unit became available and my accountant said the numbers made it sensible to take it now rather than in six months when the market shifted. I trusted her. I signed the lease.
The third space became the materials library and the sample room, which Priya organized with a thoroughness that I found moving. She catalogued everything. She created a system that made finding the right material in the right finish in the right quantity a matter of four minutes rather than forty. She labeled shelves with a label maker she had bought herself and expensed without asking, which I considered an indicator of exactly the right kind of initiative.
