I climb into the shower and let the water beat my skin. Hoping the heat of the water will take away from the pain burning around my ankle. The pelt my father wrapped around my ankle had to be removed. I didn't fancy a soggy pelt around my ankle. I lean against the wall butting my head against the tiles.
