Later that night, the group gathered in the dimly lit living room of the chateau. The fireplace flickered lazily, casting a soft glow across the hardwood floors. Laughter and the clink of glass echoed through the air as Petra, Gary, Calvin, Quinn, and Sasha sat scattered across the leather couches and armchairs, drinks in hand. Petra lounged comfortably, a half-empty glass of whiskey in her hand. Sasha sat cross-legged beside her, sipping slowly from a tall glass of vodka, her hazel-green eyes reflecting the firelight.
