Chapter 11: "The Betrayal" Juliet felt like she had been punched in the gut. She couldn't believe that Rachel, her loyal lady-in-waiting, could betray her like this. "How could you, Rachel?" Juliet demanded, her voice shaking with anger. "How could you do this to me?" Rachel stood before her, a smug look on her face. "I did it for the good of the kingdom, Princess," she said. "You're not worthy to rule. You're weak and foolish, and you'll only bring ruin to our kingdom." Juliet's eyes narrowed as she listened to Rachel's words. She couldn't believe the betrayal she was feeling. "You're wrong, Rachel," Juliet said, her voice firm. "I am worthy to rule. And I'll prove it to you." Rachel laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "You'll never be able to prove it, Princess," she said. "Because you'll never have the chance. You'll be dead before you can even try." Juliet's heart skipped a beat as she realized the danger she was in. She knew she had to get out of there, and fast. But as she turned to run, she felt a hand on her arm, holding her back. It was Paul, his eyes locked on hers. "Wait, Princess," he said. "We can't let Rachel get away with this. We have to stop her." Juliet nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. "You see, I have the upper hand here. I have the king's advisor on my side, and together, we can do whatever we want." Juliet's eyes narrowed as she realized the extent of Rachel's betrayal. She had thought that Rachel was just a loyal lady-in-waiting, but it seemed that she was much more than that. "You're not going to get away with this, Rachel," Paul said, his voice firm and commanding. "We're going to stop you, no matter what it takes." Rachel laughed, a cold, mirthless sound.
