“Chris I wasn’t….. I wasn’t alone.” I said, giving him a half smile.
“Wyatt….Are you serious about him?”
“I like him a lot, but that isn’t why we are here.”
“We should clear the air and I want to be honest with you… about everything.” He said all while making eye contact.
I nodded, encouraging him to continue.
“I am so sorry for what happened to Claudia. I need you to know it was the only time anything like that happened and I am pretty sure she drugged me.”
I was surprised but I needed to know how he got into that situation. “Was that the first time you had dinner with her and lied to me saying it was a business dinner?”
