After an embarrassing moment with Gifty I tried convincing her I was just messing with her. I knew we were not dating and all but- just the thoughts of it sent me on edge. I’m glad I didn't go about telling the whole school! Joys-land could be CNN if it chooses to be. I am not that naive and dump to not know anything about dating! It's the 21st century!

They were coming home a week from today which is a Friday and I was happy, I got to finally hold my brother in my arms, kiss him goodnight and see his innocent self grow.
I also knew I had to prepare myself for anything since they were coming home, which meant not getting used to amazing hours of sleep and practically doing nothing.
Friday nights were spent watching movies on my laptop and that was what I intended
