Chapter 84: His Introduction

Takahashi POV

I notice that Katsumi is avoiding me on purpose. I don’t think that she has enough reason to be like that. It doesn’t matter if Bara likes me. She doesn’t need to change the way she treats me. She is just making things between us really hard. Maybe I am just over reacting and expecting too much from her. Maybe she is just playing with my feelings and it is obvious that she doesn’t like me at all. “Everyone, close the gates and do not allow other people to enter the mansion! Lady Katsumi is in danger so please watch out and make sure that nobody will enter the mansion!” the maid shouted.

Is Katsumi's life in danger? Who threatens her? Could it be the reason why she looks hesitant these past few days? I just continue watering the plants in the garden while worrying about Katsumi. Should I help the guards in guarding the mansion? I was about to turn off the hose that I am using in watering the plants when a man landed on the ground from above. He leaped the wall just to get inside the mansion. Could it be that he is the man that is a threat to Katsumi’s life? He came here just to attack Katsumi and I need to protect her. 

“The gates are closed and the walls are also protected with spells. I just got lucky that this part has a gap that allows me to get inside” he said. I quickly punch him on the face and jump back while materializing my bow. I should not let this man escape and I will shoot him with my arrow. I point him the arrow while he is still trying to stand up as he tries to wipe his face with his hand. “Don’t you dare try to move or else I will shoot this arrow at you and blast your head. Tell me who you are” I warned. “You don’t know who I am? That is a really polite way to greet your visitor. I am Darius and I think I am the one that should be asking you that question. Who are you?” the man said.

When he is the one who is trespassing here and simply enters the ground of the mansion without using the gate, this man has the audacity to question my name. He seems strange, and I have a feeling he isn't simply a regular player. He won't be able to jump that high if he's just a regular player. Saki is the only person I believe is capable of jumping that high. I feel that the only person who can jump that high has ninja blood or blood that is different from everyone else's. Then this man most likely possesses a rare blood type, but why is he pursuing and threatening Katsumi? This isn't relevant right now. All I have to do now is make sure Katsumi and the mansion are safe from this man.

My arrow is really fast because I invested a lot of energy into it, yet he managed to avoid it. This man isn't like the rest of us, and I'm going to need some support from the others. I need to get the attention of the other residents of this mansion so that they will come here and join me in attacking this man. I'm confident that if I follow that method, I'll be able to eliminate this individual and return him to his spawn point, giving us enough time to report the incident to the king. I've already tracked down Katsumi, and I need to be with her right now to keep her safe from harm, "he stated. To find Katsumi, he used a spell. He leaps very high to go to Katsumi, but I summon all the lightning in my legs and chase him down, grabbing his neck, choking it, and slamming him to the ground. My slam produced a loud noise, and I'm hoping that people will notice us.

As a result of my assault, he began coughing up blood. "Trespasser, don't you dare to underestimate me. I'm going to murder you "I stated. In my palm, I manifest a sword and point it at him. "Could you maybe give me a chance to speak first?! You should just let me be with her because I am not the enemy here! You've got no idea what's going on with her right now! What if her life is in peril and she requires assistance, but no one is there to assist her because we are fighting? ", he stated I can tell he's worried, but I can't believe what he's saying right now. This is all part of his plan, and he is only acting to get pity from me. "Katsumi issued an order to everyone not to let anyone else into the mansion because she had received a threat and her life was still in risk. She requested that the guards shut the gate, and this individual attempted to get access to the mansion by leaping from the outside into our garden. Katsumi's life is in danger because of him. Please assist me in my fight against him "I stated. Bara has finally arrived. I now have a chance to assassinate this man. While we were conversing, I failed to see that Darius had already stood up and taken a few steps away from me to catch his breath. "Bara, please help me," he pleaded.

"Please calm down first, Takahashi," she added. I don't have time to relax right now. To keep Katsumi safe, I need to kill this man. I sprint over to him, attempting to s***h him with the sword I'm carrying. I'm not adept in close combat, but it's my only alternative, especially since my opponent is already depleted. He began blocking my attacks and attempting to combat me by slashing back. "Don't fight him, Darius! What you're doing is going to kill him!" Bara yelled loudly. "I don't know how I'm going to stop right now. This man is insane, and he has no intention of stopping his attacks on me. He's also determined to kill me. He will make me die and return to my spawn location if I stop fighting! ", he yelled.

I landed a side kick on his leg, knocking him to the ground and rendering him defenseless against me. I kick his sword away from him as he falls to the ground, ensuring that he does not pick it up and attack me again. "Would you like to say anything else, Darius?" I stated. I was going to stab him when Katsumi grabbed my arm and pulled me away from him. "What have you done, Takahashi!" Katsumi remarked. She came to Darius to assist him. To make Darius rest, he placed his head on her arms. "Is that man a threat to you?" I inquired. Katsumi begins to wipe Darius's face, as though she is concerned about him. "What exactly are you referring to? He's not a threat, so what exactly did you do to him? His face has scratches and wounds. Takahashi, he is not your adversary. Darius is my fiancé, "she said.
