Chapter 50: Tomorrow

I'm pleased for her just seeing her happy and striving to make her dreams come true, but I'm sad because it will be a long time before I see her again after that game. Maybe if she returns, the potion's impact will still be on her, and I will still adore her the way I have always adored her. I'm afraid that when the time comes for her to return, I won't have any feelings for her, and she'll be confused as to why I've changed how I treat her. I'll wait for her, and if all goes well after I fulfill my task, we could become lovers. For the time being, all I want is a future with her. All I want is for her to be my lover, but I know that's not possible because we're friends.

I give everyone a thumbs up and a high five, and when I reach for Lyka's hand, I lock my gaze on her. She taps me on the shoulder and says, "Best wishes for tomorrow. Make me proud by doing your best, "she stated. I patted her on the head and replied, "Sure, I'll do it! Let's make tomorrow a day and a moment to remember in your life. "
