Chapter 21: Adore a Lady You Don’t Know

I need to be courageous! I need to be brave and tell Tori how I feel. "Let me do it myself," I stated. I'm on my way to Tori. I still have time to make reservations. I still have time to come to a halt. I still have time not to go on. I still have the option of not confessing. I still have time to do those things, but here I am approaching her. Today is the day when I will find out what she has to say. Today is the day I will discover her true feelings towards me. Today is the day that everything between us will change. Today could be the day she refuses to accept me and rejects me. Today could be the day she becomes my one and only lover. "Tori," I said quietly. She's now staring at me. I took a deep breath and said, "I like you! I like you a lot! It's true that I adored you the moment I saw you. Back then, I didn't know it was love. I love you in a very unexplainable way. I admire you so much! I admire every inch of you and I think of you every hour, minute, and second of my day. Will you be my lover and the mother of my daughter? "

Did she get what I was saying? Was she able to hear it clearly? I'm not sure if she understood what I said. I'm not sure if she heard what I said. I look at her straight in the eyes, and I can tell she's surprised by my quick confession. What happens next to me is no longer important to me. I'm not sure what the future holds for the two of us, but here I am, ready to take happiness or rejection from her. She's still not responding to me and is simply sitting on the sand with some sea shells in her hands. Does this imply that she dislikes me? She remains dumbfounded and tries to turn her gaze away from me. I suppose this is a precursor to rejection.

Yuu’s POV

I've been awakened, and my bodies feel as if they've been injured. I have no recollection of what happened to me. Bandages are wrapped around my arms and legs. Finally, I recall events that occurred to me. Aiko tried to make me fall in love with her by putting a love potion in the beer she gave me, and I began cutting myself to allow the blood to flow outside of my body because I was frantic to get rid of the love potion in my blood. I'm a complete moron. I still want to close my eyes, but I remember a girl's face. I remember the girl who tried to save me. She urged me to wait there until she could get assistance, but I didn't see her again since I was picked up by my friends. She's most likely concerned.

"Hey! Brother! "a man said. I turned to face the man who had called me. I slowly recognized him and it was Takahashi. Saki grabbed his shoulders in her hands and pushed him back into his seat. "Calm down, you might terrify him if you act like that." she said. I made my friend quite concerned. I cause them problems, yet today is supposed to be a good day for them. "Are you all right now?" Takahashi asked. He appears frightened, and I can see her rage as she seeks vengeance against the person who put me in peril. I stretched my arms and back to reassure him that he shouldn't be concerned. "I'm perfectly fine. Take a look! ", I said.

"Stop acting as if you're stupid and that everything is alright. It will take too long for you to mend and awaken if I don't put a spell on you. When we found you, you were fully covered in blood and had numerous wounds from cutting. What exactly occurred to you, and who was the perpetrator? " Saki said. Saki has a threatening expression on her face, as if she wants to investigate who did this to me and punish the perpetrator. I don't want to make things that occurred to me into a huge deal, especially since the person who did this to me isn't an ordinary person who can be easily punished. I simply laughed and said, "Sorry if I concerned you and I couldn't go back in time. I was merely walking and was awestruck by the scenery, so I tried to visit every corner of this beach, and I was even surprised to learn that there was a wild bear in the vicinity. "

"Do you think I believe a wild bear attacked you? Don't try to fool me I'm not stupid, "she stated. She doesn't appear to believe what I'm saying. I'm lying to her and attempting to dupe everyone into thinking it's all because of a bear rather than a person. Well, she isn't stupid, and I'm aware of it, but I don't believe they need to know what happened to me. "I swear I'm not making this up. I was also surprised to see a bear here, and it was rather large, so I assumed it was someone's pet and didn't want to harm it, but it then attacked me from behind, and I didn't have time to fight back, "I said. I think I'm just not very good at telling stories. But I'd rather appear to be a liar than be the source of a major conflict between a Watanabe and a legend.

"I don't believe you," she continued, "but if that's your explanation, fine. I won't push you. " She just stopped asking me to tell her the truth because I had no intention of doing so anyway. "It's the truth in any case," I explained. Someone knocked on our door, and Tori opened it and found out that it was Aiko standing there, who was also the one knocking on our door. "How did you end up here?!" Saki yelled. Saki pushes Aiko as she closes the door behind her, but Aiko fights back. "Get out!" Saki yelled. "Please let me in!" Aiko remarked. "Let her in Saki," I remarked, laughing at the two of them. "Fine," Saki replied, rolling her eyes. Aiko had a worried expression on her face, and I guess she didn't expect me to cut myself in order to remove the love potion. She probably doesn't want me to be like this, either. "What happened to him?" Aiko asked. Saki responded, "He said he was attacked by a bear." "Is this a bear attack?" Aiko murmured.

She begins to realize that I made up a plot to cover up her attempts to harm me. It's because I don't want to cause any more problems, and this one should only be between the two of us, and attracting the attention of the general public would be dangerous for me. "I know he's lying because he's a master of deception. I assume he became like that because someone attempted to do something awful to him, "Saki responded. "Don't be concerned! Look, I'm alright, so don't be concerned, Aiko, " I said with a smile. I can tell Aiko is feeling bad since she has a sad expression on her face. She was attempting to destroy me mentally, but she didn't expect me to be physically injured and harmed. She didn't think I'd be seriously injured as a result of what she did to me. "Could you just leave the two of us in this room for the time being?" Aiko enquired. Saki is on the verge of slapping her, but Takahashi intervenes. "Saki don't!" he said. "Don't tell us what to do!" Saki yelled. "We're simply going to talk. Please allow us some time to discuss since we truly need to talk, "she stated. Saki looks at me as if she's asking me not to agree with Aiko's demands, but I believe I need to speak with Aiko as well. "Saki, it's all fine. Please respect her wishes, "I stated. "I despise you! You're a moron, "Saki remarked.

"Thank you for allowing me to speak with you alone," she expressed her gratitude. She shows her gratitude by bowing her head. "Do not bow your head in front of a person like me. You are a legend, while I am nothing more than a commoner in this world," I stated. She apologized for what she had done to me and was kind to me this time. I'm not sure if being associated with someone like her will endanger me. "I appreciate you allowing me to speak with you alone, and I am glad for the opportunity. Please accept my apologies for what I did to you, "she stated. I'm willing to forgive her and forget what she did to me. I'm not the type of person who seeks payback on others or who can't forgive others for their sins.

"Even if you didn't beg for forgiveness, I already forgive you," I said. She is bemused by what I have said. She is taken aback by the fact that, despite the serious offense she has committed against me, I have already forgiven her. "Isn't it true that you lied to them? Your wounds are not the result of a wild bear attack, "she enquired. It's hard to believe a bear would inflict those scars on me, and it's clear that if it's just a bear, I'll fight back. "I deceived them. I didn't lie to them because I care about you or to protect you. I simply want peace and to prevent a larger problem. "My blood begins to flow with the love potion contained in the beer you gave me. I cut myself several times because I was desperate. " I went on to say more. It's strange to believe I did those things merely to avoid falling in love. I only did this because I actually love you. I desperately want you, "she stated. She appears to be pleading with me to accept her. I wish I could, but I simply can’t. She is a perfect girl, and anyone she attempts to seduce will fall completely in love with her. I simply do not want to be in a relationship. "I know you have no intention of hurting me, and it is entirely my fault that my body is covered in blood, which is why I have already forgiven you. It is entirely my choice to have my body cut.
