Chapter 73: Cry on Shoulder

Saki’s mother started to cry and interfere with Takahashi's next word. “Please Takahashi don’t say anything that will make my husband upset. Please have some respect for my daughter. We are here in front of her grave and you are all being like this and you are not even showing respect for her soul. Fighting and blaming each other isn’t the purpose of this gathering so please Takahashi. Please be silent” she said. Takahashi removed the hand of Watanabe from his shirt. “So, are you just going to allow this man to say things that aren't true and let us blame for his mistakes? That’s very wrong and we can’t just let him think that it is the real cause of why her daughter died. It isn’t my fault that your daughter died and stop talking like it is all my fault and it is because of my past” he stated.

 “You really don't know when to shut up and you probably want to get punched, little kid” Watanabe said. He punched Takahashi on the face and as a result Takahashi was thrown at the ground. “Watanabe that’s enough! Stop already!” his wife said. His wife is trying to pull him but because of the anger of Watanabe he just pushes his wife away from him. “Where is your bravery now? I heard you got the ability to summon the lightning arrow. How can a man like you be able to summon a power that only a God can do? Fight me if you can or I will make your face bleed and destroyed” he said. Takahashi’s face got a little bit scratched because of Watanabe’s punch and he quickly wiped it while he was on the ground. Takahashi stood up again like nothing happened.

“Are you going to just stand there and do nothing? Fighting you is really boring so I won’t wonder why my daughter is always there trying to save you because you are too bad at fighting. You are lucky that my daughter chose to stay friends with a person like you who is way inferior and out of her league. I feel really bad for my daughter that she got stuck being friends with you because she feels bad because of your weakness” he said. He is about to punch Takahashi again but this time I quickly dash and grip his wrist with my one hand. “Don’t you dare hurt my man or else I will punish you” I said.

His expression shifts from craziness to astonishment. "What are you doing here, Lady Katsumi?" he inquired. I let go of his wrist and, thankfully, he stopped hurting Takahashi. "Don't ask me that," I responded, "because I have the freedom to go wherever I want and there's no reason for you to wonder why I'm here." When I glance at Takahashi, his face is covered with scratches and he appears to be in bad shape. He's probably embarrassed enough in public by Watanabe. "Katsumi, go out of here right now because I need to punish that man. Now take a step back and allow me to conduct my business "he stated I didn't take a step back and am now standing in the middle of the two of them. He can't tell me what to do or command me because I have my own free will.

"Do you hear me, Lady Katsumi? I told him to back up because I needed to punish him. Are you attempting to derail our battle? What is your purpose for doing this? The rain has stopped, and I'm sure Bara will be here soon. Takahashi spreads his palm open, trying to feel for any remaining raindrops. "The rain has stopped now," he stated. I believe I'm thinking about what happened to us earlier, and those memories keep coming back to me. "Yes, I understand! I'm sorry, but I'm thinking about a lot of things right now "I stated. "Bara is already there, and she is shouting at you," Takahashi added, "but it appears like you didn't hear her." With a troubled expression on his face, Bara runs towards us. "Are you all right, Katsumi? Your face is quite flushed. Do you have a high temperature? "she enquired.

All of a sudden, my face turned bright red! Takahashi could not have gone unnoticed! "How come my face is red?" I inquired. "It is, in fact, bright crimson. Takahashi, her face is red, isn't it?" Bara inquired. When Takahashi is about to glance at my face, I hastily cover it. He admitted, "Yes, it was already red earlier, and I thought I was the only one who noticed it."
