Chapter 28: The Look Out

He is such a talented wizard that he can change his appearance and conceal his true identity. "I like that expression," I said. He puts on his bunny mask, then takes it off again, and his face changes to Yuu's. "You prefer this face, don't you?" he asked. He has a striking resemblance to Yuu. He can even imitate the face and voice of the man I like. "I love you, Aiko," he declared. I can't move, and I'm about to burst with mixed emotions just thinking about how he said it with Yuu's face and voice. I need to calm down because he isn't Yuu and is simply an imposter. "What is this for?" I inquired. "I thought you'd like to imagine he was telling you those words," he explained. I like it, but I want the real him. He snaps his fingers, and his previous face reappears. "There will be a dance at 11:55 pm until 12:00 am. I guess almost everyone there will have a dance at the hall. We need to avoid engaging Saki because if she notices that we are attempting to do bad things, she will become a big hindrance to us. I will ask Yuu to dance with me before 12:00 a.m. and while Yuu is busy dancing with me, his attention will be all on me. At 12:00 you will murder that girl while I dance with Yuu"

I'm hoping she'll be gone from his life forever tonight. He'll start his life with me and we'll be together for the rest of our lives. "I think I'll just go for now. I'll see you at 8 p.m., and we can have some fun afterwards," he added. He vanishes with a flick of his finger. To vanish or teleport from one location to another, he doesn't even require pearls. My assistant inquired, "Lady, are you okay?" He didn't hurt us, and he appeared to only desire to do horrible things. All I have to do now is follow our strategy, even if it is incorrect. Takahashi’s POV

We haven't eaten anything yet, and we're still waiting for Yuu and Saki. He stated that he would use the restroom, but it appears that it is taking too long. They haven't shown up yet, but thankfully there are enough seats for us. My brother has a seat reserved by Lyka, and Saki has her own seat as well. Lyka is probably being polite to my brother in order to be closer to him. I'm glad they're getting along so well. Lyka remarked, "Look, it's them." Yuu was with Saki, and the two of them returned to the dining hall together. I'm simply overthinking and overreacting to situations. I'm relieved they're safe. "Let's eat," I remarked, seeing that the meal had already been prepared. Yuu takes a seat next to Lyka because she had previously reserved a seat for him. Yuu appears to be pleased with Lyka's actions. "Isn't my daughter sweet? She aspires to be closer to you," I stated.

Yuu hasn't responded to anything I've said, and he's ignoring Lyka. Knowing that Lyka is the one who tries to help him when we aren't present, I expect them to be closer to each other. Maybe he's just embarrassed to learn that the lady who is attempting to assist him is the daughter of one of his friends. They look good together only if they meet as lovers, but I'm sure Yuu and Saki look good together as well. "Here's a taste of the desert I've got," Lyka explained. She takes a scoop of ice cream and tries to feed it to Yuu. "Come on, open your mouth," she said. Yuu continues to consume his food without opening his mouth. "Open your mouth, brother. Lyka just wants to feed you, so please let her," I urged.

Saki is staring at Yuu and watching his every move. Yuu appears to be forcing himself to ignore Lyka. "Let her do whatever she wants; all she wants is for you to try the ice cream," Saki remarked. I'm not sure what's going on right now, but Yuu appears to be uncomfortable when Lyka is nearby. Perhaps he isn't used to dealing with females. I'm expecting him to be more like a playboy who is skilled at flirting and complimenting women. He allowed Lyka to feed her with a scoop of ice cream by slightly opening his mouth. "Does it taste good?" Lyka inquired. Yuu began to consume his food once more. "Yes," he said quietly. I'm grateful he let Lyka feed him. With the spoon she used to feed Yuu, Lyka eats her ice cream. That's what we call an indirect kiss! It's like they're kissing each other on the lips! I'm going crazy!

"Are you all right, Takahashi? It appears that you are overthinking things, "Tori remarked. I think I resemble a man whose soul has just exited his own body. I'm just overthinking it! There is no such thing as an indirect kiss, so don't be alarmed! My brother and daughter did not kiss! "Of course, I'm fine. Yes, everything is alright with me. I'm in great shape. I'm perfectly alright, "I stated. I make a fool of myself by repeatedly stating that I am alright. "You don't appear to be in excellent condition," Saki observed. I'm quite aware that I don't appear to be fine. I need to relax since they are only being lovely as relatives and not as lovers. I guess they don't like each other, but they want to learn more about each other because that's what a family is supposed to do!

"I have something to tell you all," Saki said. When Saki says it, Yuu looks nervous. They appear to be keeping something from us, and Saki is about to reveal everything to us right now. "There will be a ball later, and we are all invited. The ladies will wear ball gowns, and the men will wear tuxedos. There is no need to worry if you don't have those clothes, because my mom has already provided us with gowns and tuxedos. Lyka is also included there, so there is no need to worry," she said. Saki rolls her eyes as she looks at Yuu. Yuu had a thought, and he misunderstood Saki. He expected Saki to reveal something.

There will be a ball later, and I must look dashing! I'm going to ask Tori to dance so that I can try to have a romantic dance with her. I'm getting excited just thinking about what might happen tonight. I'm looking forward to dancing with my lover. I suppose I should also dance with Lyka and Saki. This night will be a fantastic night! "When you get to your room, you'll see a variety of gowns and tuxedos to choose from, and everyone will meet at the main hall at 8 p.m.," she explained. We went to our room and opened our wardrobe, where we found a large selection of tuxedos from which to choose. I can't decide what to wear because they all look good and suitable. We began searching for a tuxedo that would suit us best. "Hey, do you mind if I dance with Lyka?" he inquired. "Of course, you can also dance with Tori if you like. I don't mind, brother. You aren't a stranger to me, so don't think I'll be offended," I said. He appears to be disturbed, yet there is no need for him to be bothered. Lyka will be overjoyed to learn that Yuu will accompany her in dance.

"I'm delighted to hear that," he said. He has a problem, and I can tell by the look on his face. He simply does not want us to know. He's having a difficult time. "Are you okay, brother?" I inquired. Everything would be fine if I could just read his mind and help him with his problem. "You look like you have a problem? Do you need help? Don't be afraid to ask for it; I'm always here for you," I said. He gives me a look and taps my shoulder. "I appreciate you always being there for me," he said. I will, of course, be there for him. He is like a brother to me, and he protects and cares for me so much that I want to reciprocate. I want him to know that he doesn't have to bear his burden alone because I am always open to him.

Yuu’s POV

I'm causing concern among my friends. I'm not sure if I should tell him what's going on. I just don't want him to get involved in my personal issues. We're dealing with a massive problem, and involving him in it will only put him in danger, which I don't want to happen. I don't want my friend to get involved in my personal problems as much as possible. This problem should be solved by me. My hologram emits an alerting tone. Someone is chatting with me. When I check my hologram to see who is chatting, I see Saki. She asked me to meet her at the beach by myself. Maybe she'll tell me something important, and I think I should meet her because she's the only one who knows what's going on right now.

"I'm going somewhere," I declared. Takahashi grips my hand even tighter, as if he doesn't want me to leave. "Where are you going?" he asked, concerned that something horrible would happen to me again. "I'll simply meet Saki somewhere," I patted his head. "Saki told me to go by myself there. I guess we're going to chat about something essential that only the two of us should know. Don't worry, I'll be back." I gave him a friendly smile and exited the room. I'm curious as to what Saki will say this time. I don't believe we have anything important to discuss. Perhaps she'll invite me to dance with her or ask me about the ball later. Well, she doesn't have to ask since I'll dance with her even if she doesn't say anything.

I ran towards Saki at the seaside. "Hey" I said. She looks serious and she looks like she is also worried. "Listen to me because this will be a quick conversation," she said. I feel that there is a danger waiting for us and we need to be careful. "One of my guards who is an expert ninja said that he observed that someone who seems dangerous was keeping an eye on Lyka. No matter what happened later at the ball, do not lose sight on her. If you need to fight, fight. I am not telling you this because you have to protect the girl you love. I must protect Lyka. That will be difficult because I don't know where I should protect her from. "I am always prepared to fight, and I will not allow an innocent person to be dragged only to settle my personal problems," I stated. We go our own ways, and thankfully no one sees us together. I'm not sure I'm ready to fight because I'm still recovering from an injury. This is a struggle I must fight on my own. Today will put my strength to the test, but no matter who stands in my way, I will ensure that they experience failure, especially if they damage the only lady I care about.
