Chapter 19: Between Life and Death

She takes a sip of the beer she's carrying. "I think you should start drinking as well," she said. I attempted to open the beer and sip it. I sense something strange about the beer I'm about to consume. Unless I try to drink it, I won't be able to tell. I take a sip of the beer to get a sense of what's within. I was startled by what I tasted, so I activated my immunity to this spell inside the beer, but it only lasted a few minutes. "How are things going for you? Does it have a pleasant flavor? ", she enquired. I attempted to avoid looking at any areas of her skin by looking at the ground. "Yes, it does, but there is something you added that I don't like. You put a love potion there, right? "I said. I can tell she was surprised that I discovered there was a love potion in the beer she gave me. She's trying to make me fall in love with her, but I'm not having it. I have my own priorities on which I must concentrate, and love will only serve as a hindrance to me." You are correct, I admit it. There is, in fact, a love potion there. You astonish me and you continue to astound me, just like you did today when you noticed a love potion that you weren't supposed to discover. You claim that fighting me is a dream come true for you, then if you are mine, I can make your dream come true at any time. Let's fight whenever you want and no one will know. Be my lover, "she stated.

I keep my gaze fixed on the ground, avoiding establishing eye contact with any portion of her. I know that seeing even an inch of her skin will make me fall head over heels with her. I need to close my eyes. I closed my eyes and faced the ground. "That's a strange thing to hear, but I'm not a guy worth becoming your lover. You are far superior to me, and you deserve a finer man, so don't waste your time with a commoner like me, "I stated. "I don't want to be in a relationship with anyone, but when we fight, I realize you're the one and I desperately need you. It's entirely your fault! If you could just murder me right then, I wouldn't feel like this, "she stated.

I can feel the love potion spreading through my bloodstream, weakening my resistance. This potion is quite powerful, but I must remain cool and devise a strategy to overcome it. "I have to tell you the truth. I have no desire for partners and I am uninterested in anyone. I have a goal that I need to achieve, and having a companion will only complicate things. Having a lover is a pain in the neck for me. Please respect my convictions, "I stated. "If you've said that you have a goal, then let's work together to achieve it! You can't just turn me down like that! Anything you desire, I can do. Because I am a wealthy individual, I am confident that we will be able to fulfill all of your wishes, "she stated.

My eyes remained closed as I rose up. Whatever it takes, I'm not going to be able to open my eyes and see someone, even if it means crawling. I kept my eyes closed and continued to face the ground. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll ever have a lover. I don't consider myself a lady's husband. I have no desire to be a father to anyone's child. I can't imagine myself showing affection to such a lovely lady as you, so please pardon me. " As I attempted to walk away, I said. I'm just trying to feel the sand and have no idea where I'm going. All I knew was that I needed to move away from her. "I'll have you! I'll make sure I have you! You can't get away from me! I'm going to come back! ", she stated.

As I tried to walk away, I had the impression that she had already departed and was no longer following me. My eyes are still shut, making it difficult for me to move. I need to cut myself and let the blood flow. I summoned up a knife in my hand and began making cuts in my arms, allowing the blood to flow. Because the love potion isn't going away, I continue to make cuts on my legs. I'm on the verge of passing out. I'm losing a lot of blood, and I think I'll need to lose half of my blood if I keep trying to release the love potion in my blood. I can't stop myself. I can't continue like this. I sliced my forearm with a knife, and I could feel a lot of blood flowing out of me. This isn't enough. I need to make even more cuts.

I need to cut as much as possible from my body. I'm completely exhausted. To improve blood flow, I stabbed my thighs. My blood continued to run out of me as I collapsed to the ground. I don't have the energy to get up, but I need to get moving and locate a safe spot. Because of my wounds, I resemble someone who has been targeted for assassination. I'm still unable to open my eyes, and I'm unsure of my current location. I was startled when I heard footsteps approaching. Her hands are trembling as she rushes towards me. "Is everything all right? You're dripping with blood. What's the matter with you? ", asked a lady. I was able to feel her smooth skin and thighs while lying in her arms. "Are you conscious? Look at me, "she said while holding my face in her hands.

"We need to get some aid because this can't be occurring. Your wounds require medical attention, and we need professionals to help. Please look at me. Are you conscious? ", she expressed herself. I know I shouldn't open my eyes because I'll fall in love with the first person I see. I took a glance at her after opening my eyes. The love potion begins to work after a short while. My heart is racing due to this lovely lady who I have no idea who she is. She exclaimed, "I'm pleased you're awake!" I'm still in her arms and can't say anything. "Please, don't leave. Please stay with here for while I seek assistance, "she stated. She delicately placed my head on the ground before fleeing in search of assistance. Will I ever see her? I had no idea what her name was.

I'm completely exhausted. I'm about to pass out right now. I'll have to hold my breath till she arrives. Regardless of what happens, I must wait for her and remain in this place. "Brother! What happened to you?!" With a concerned expression on his face, Takahashi yelled. "Hey, answer me! You have a lot of wounds! Your blood is flowing! Who did this to you?! "He yelled at the top of his lungs. I'm at a loss for words. As he held me in his arms, I gradually closed my eyes. "Hey! Wake up! Anyone please, help us!"

 Takahashi POV

Saki said to me, "Hey, come on, let's have our food." She had a furious expression on her face. "Can you tell me where Tori is?" I asked. She yelled angrily at me and said, "Please don't bother me with questions about her because she's already at the dining hall. Please, let's eat! I'm already hungry! ".. I was about to leave the room when I realized Yuu had still not returned. "Yuu had just gone for a walk. I'm guessing he's enjoying the scenery of the sea," I stated. When I looked outside by the window, I noticed Yuu wasn't there. I assumed he was simply gazing at the beach in front of our hotel room. Perhaps he went for a longer stroll and explored the beach. "Is it alright for you to wait for him? I'm sure he'll return shortly, "I stated.

 She crosses her arms as if she is impatient to go inside the dining hall. "That silly man, it's already time to eat, and he's walking around aimlessly while his other friend starves. Okay, we'll wait for him, but if he takes too long, I vow I won't mind if he's hungry for the duration of our party, "she stated. "Saki, thank you so much! Don't worry, he'll be here in a matter of minutes, "I stated. While we wait for Yuu to return, Saki takes a seat in the chair. I simply stand in front of the window so that I can see him as he approaches. He hadn't arrived after a half-hour had passed. I'm starting to be concerned about him. He's taking too long, and I'm beginning to worry that something horrible has happened.

 "Saki..." I murmured, my voice trembling. Saki seemed to be beginning to wonder why Yuu had been away for such a long time. "Let's go find him. I'm starting to believe he had a horrible encounter, "Saki remarked. We dash to the dining hall, where Tori is waiting for us. "Tori! Yuu is missing, so hurry! We need to track him down! " I screamed. Tori joined us, and we're still looking for Yuu. As we searched for him, we began shouting his name. "Let's split up!" Saki remarked. To find Yuu, the three of us split off and headed in different directions. We looked everywhere we could, but this resort is simply too enormous. I continued walking along the beach till I came upon a man on the ground with a b****y body.

 As I got closer to the body, I was horrified and terrified. "Is that you, Yuu?" I stated. Because his blood is absolutely all over his clothes, it's difficult to tell what he's wearing, but as I get closer, I notice that the man who is entirely on the ground is Yuu. He appeared to be in terrible shape, as if someone was attempting to kill or hurt him. Cuts are visible on his arms, forearms, legs, and thighs. "Brother! What happened to you?! " I yelled. He didn't respond to me, and his eyes appeared to be open, but he couldn't look me in the eyes. He is unable to move his arms or any other body parts. "Hey, answer me! You have a lot of wounds! Your blood is flowing! Who did this to you?! " I screamed loudly. I'm enraged, and I know someone did something wrong to Yuu, and I'm going to make that person pay for what she did to my brother. He closes his eyes slowly which makes me more anxious. I held him tightly in my arms. "Hey! Wake up! Anyone please, help us!", I screamed.

As I held Yuu in my arms, I screamed and cried for rescue. Tori found me and was terrified when she saw Yuu's numerous wounds. "Tori! Keep an eye out for Saki! Hurry! We require assistance! " I screamed. "I'll do it! Please be patient when we arrive!", she stated. Tori dashes off to find Saki, as I continue to hold Yuu. I had no idea that you could be hurt in this world even if you are not playing, and that if I killed him, he would resurrect without any wounds, but I couldn't kill my brother. "Takahashi!" Tori and Saki both yelled. They had already arrived. "Please assist us! Yuu is in a life-or-death situation! " I stated. We began carrying Yuu inside to our hotel room. We put him in bed so he might get some rest while Saki chants a healing spell for him.

 "He'll be alright now," Saki predicted. "His wounds will be entirely healed in an hour, and his energy will be restored," she continued. Now that I've heard what Saki said, I'm finally relaxed, and my worries have dissipated. I'm relieved that my brother is now safe and sound, and that he will soon recover. "Saki, thank you so much! You are a true friend we can count on, "I stated. "Don't be overwhelmed," she continued, "I'm only doing this because I don't want my mother to get furious at me because her buddy is in a perilous situation." She is concerned about Yuu as well, but she chooses not to show it. I can see she's worried by her expression. She always claims not to care, but she does. She appears to be an obstinate child, but she is actually a sweet young lady.
