Chapter 66: The Gold Knight

"Avoid getting too close to him. If you approach that man, he will not hesitate to stab you "I stated. "Thank you, but you don't have to worry about me," she murmured, pinching my ears. She keeps approaching him, but the man keeps waving his knife at her. "Be careful, Bara!" Katsumi issued a warning. She simply smiled at us and said, "Don't worry about me, I'll be alright." As Bara approaches him, the man continues to scream. Bara remarked gently, resting his hand on his shoulder. "What's the matter with you? You must be calm. Look, there's no danger here, so you may unwind. Let's chat about it and let us know what you're seeing. Take a deep breath and tell us what happened." The man begins to relax and inhale deeply.

"Please assist me. Please assist us. Help everyone if you can. Aren't you a powerful person? Then please assist us in combating these individuals. " He begs Bara for help. "I'm strong, but I'm not sure who I need to fight. What makes you so afraid? Tell me about the person who made you feel that way "Bara remarked. As he tries to explain himself, his hands begin to quiver with anxiety. "I'm not sure what his face looks like. I'm not sure. I couldn't tell what he looked like because I couldn't see his face. I only recognize his voice, and I'm sure he'll wreak havoc on us. He'll put a stop to us. He is a force to be reckoned with, and no one can stop him! ", he stated He grips Bara's hand tightly, pleading with her to assist him. His hands begin to dissolve and disintegrate into dust, just like how Yuu vanishes. Bara inquired, "What's going on?"

He vanished into thin air like a speck of dust. The crowd inquired, "Did you kill him?" It's crystal clear, and I witnessed Bara do nothing to injure the man, and the man simply vanishes. "I didn't damage him in any way. I swear he just starts to feel light and I can feel his hand grasping me strongly before vanishing, which is strange "she clarifies If someone like him died on this planet, he is most likely presently at the spawn point. "Let's head over to the spawn spot to see if he's there. We need to speak with him again. We don't have much time left, so let's go check it out, "Katsumi stated. "I'm thinking the same thing," I said. We instantly take a seat in Bara's vehicle. "Hold on to your helmets, everyone," Bara added.

Bara accelerates the vehicle as quickly as she can, and we try to stay as close together as possible to avoid an accident. This young lady enjoys riding and is currently doing so at top speed. All we observe when we arrive at the spawn point is random players arriving from the spawn place. The man isn't here, and I believe it's impossible for him to leave right now if he was just here a minute ago. We arrived here quickly, and I believe he does not have time to relocate. Folks would notice him since he is carrying a weapon that may injure other civilians, yet the people here are merely ordinary and go about their daily lives. "He's most likely here, maybe he's simply hiding," Katsumi speculated.

He's certainly hiding somewhere, but I don't imagine someone like him would hide, especially given he was violent previously and was issuing threats. He began to collaborate with us in the trade if Bara could assist him with his problem. We look for him but are unable to locate him. "Could it be that there isn't a k********g going on here, but rather a phenomenon where people start to disintegrate like dust out of nowhere and are unable to respawn, thus they won't respawn again and remain missing?" I stated. I'm hoping that what I'm thinking is incorrect. I'm hoping this isn't the one that is now taking place.

This is a problem that Bara and Katsumi are attempting to tackle. The only difference is that they are looking for the people who have gone missing, and no matter how hard they look, they will not be able to find them, whereas this man managed to speak his dying words in front of the public, and he has since vanished. I still have a lot of questions in my head, and I'm starting to wonder a lot about what's going on right now. I'm starting to think about what could be causing this.

The only difference is that they are looking for people who have been reported missing but do not know why they are missing, whereas this man was able to deliver his final word and issue a warning to everyone. I'm beginning to wonder if this is the result of a strong person's act or simply a global phenomenon intended to reduce the world's population growth. I'm starting to wonder if Yuu and Earl's deaths are connected to this issue. We don't know the anatomy of hacker’s body thus we can't say whether their death is the cause of this case. Also, this is the first time two hackers have attempted to battle and die in the place of ordinary people.

"Let's go to the king and tell him what we've learned and our theories. This must be communicated to them "Katsumi remarked. We rode in Bara's vehicle to the king's palace. We've arrived at the castle's gate, and how I wish the ground would devour me since I'm embarrassed and uncomfortable because the guards are staring at me. That's unjust because there could be bias involved "I stated. Bara put her hand over my mouth and covered it. I'm beginning to wonder if I said something that is illegal. "Don't talk like that," Bara warned, "or the king will punish you." I recall the king's desire to be viewed like a God and his aversion to receiving any negative feedback from his subjects. What a weak and cowardly monarch he is, relying on his authority and position to intimidate and silence his people. A man like him isn't deserving of the title of king in the least.

"Then what will you do if Bara does not win the next upper knight's candidacy?" I inquired. Bara, on the other hand, appears to be a cool person who is also pleasant and adept at communicating with others. "That is fine if Bara does not win a majority. We can wait till she becomes an upper knight for her turn. Also, if she does not become an upper knight, I can grant her the authority of a gold knight or diamond knight "Katsumi remarked. What is the difference between a gold knight and a diamond knight? It is the first time I have heard of such things, and I had no idea that they existed. I think I'm still oblivious to the world around me.
