Chapter 53: The World Stop

Takahashi POV

The three of us are going to play Team Sky Wars today. Today is an exciting day for everyone. Tori prepared a delicious breakfast while we waited for Saki and Yuu to arrive, and then we'll all go to the game lobby together. "Let's give it our all later in the game!" I stated. While eating our breakfast, we waited. "Of course, we'll give it our all! I'll prove to my father and Yuu that I can fight, even though I'm not very good at it. You should watch me try! " Lyka remarked. Even though this is the first time we will see Lyka battle in a game, I'm sure she'll be good at it. Even if she isn't very good at fighting, I will be proud of her because she is my daughter and she is trying her hardest.

"No matter what, you'll always be the best for us!" I stated. "You are lying," she muttered, pouting at me. When I say she is the finest for me, I am not lying! She is my only children hence she is a fantastic player in any game. There's also no need to be concerned because Yuu is with us and will undoubtedly save us if danger arises. "I'm not making this up! You can inquire to your mother. She is pleased and proud of you as well, "I stated. She pouted as she looked at Tori. Tori simply patted her head, assuring herself that everything would be great. "Well, I'm pleased. Even though the game has yet to begin, I am already proud of you, "she stated. She stuck her tongue out as if she was taunting me. She remarked, "Mom is sweeter than you."

"You love your mother more than me," I pointed out. I pretended to be sad, and she became concerned, approaching me and beginning to tap my back. "I absolutely love both of you equally. What's the point of being so dramatic? Put an end to it. You already know how much I love you two and how much you mean to me, “she stated. Well, I'm just kidding, but I still keep my hand over my face, pretending to be a brat. "Stop being so emotional. Come on, I'm just joking, "she stated. She keeps pushing my shoulder to see if I'm really crying or sad. "Hey, why are you acting like that? Mom, come help me! Father is acting like a child once more! ", she stated. I began to burst out laughing because she appeared alarmed.

We're about to finish our meal, but Saki and Yuu have yet to arrive. I'm starting to overthink things and worry that something bad will happen to them. "Are you okay?", Tori inquired, her gaze fixed on my worried expression. I slap myself on the cheeks to calm myself down and think clearly. "This is insignificant. I'm just wondering why Saki and Yuu aren't here yet. Maybe I'm just overthinking things. Because of events that occurred unexpectedly a month ago, I've been having these kinds of thoughts in the last few days. I can't help but think this way because I care too much about them, "I stated. They will, without a doubt, be fine. They're just taking their time and getting ready to come here.

"You don't have to think that way. They'll undoubtedly arrive in a flash, "Lyka remarked. I can't seem to quit worrying, and it's making me feel horrible. I believe I need to get rid of these feelings and emotions because they may interfere with our meeting today. I want to make this a happy and memorable experience for everyone involved. Therefore, I'm going to overlook my feelings about not continuing our game today. "Please accept my apologies if I'm being rude," I said. "Make no apologies. It's very reasonable to be concerned about someone important in your life. Let's get rid of those negative ideas and have a good time! " According to Lyka. I'm sure Lyka wants to leave us with a lasting memory, and I'll make sure she gets it.

Someone knocks on our door, and Lyka dashes to the door to see who is knocking. Yuu and Saki are most likely the ones who are knocking. I heard Yuu stayed at Saki's place last night, so the two of them could come here together. Lyka opens the door, but instead of Saki and Yuu, Yuu is the only one who enters, which is unusual and unexpected. "Hello, everyone! What are we having for breakfast today? ", he stated. He waves his hand at us as he approaches us and takes a seat at the dining table chair. "Can you tell me where Saki is?" I inquired. Lyka brings him a plate and puts food on it for him to eat. He explained, "We didn't go together." My heart begins to race, and I notice that my palms are becoming chilly as a result of my nervousness.

He glances at me, and I believe he notices that I am nervous. "Are you alright? You don't appear to be fine, "he stated. He realizes I'm concerned and overthinking things, so he continues to explain. "We didn't travel here together since I prefer to stay at home. I really wanted to stay in her mansion, but I remembered that I had a lot of things to do at home, so we agreed to part ways. There was no need to be concerned because I spoke with her and she informed me that she had arrived home safely. Why are you worrying so much, brother? Let's just relax and wait for Saki to arrive. I'm sure she'll be here soon, "he stated. I can't stop worrying about what might happen today, and I have a strong feeling that something bad will happen.

Someone knocks on the door again, and when Lyka opens it, it is Saki who is knocking. "As you can see, she is perfectly alright. There's no need to be concerned because she's already arrived, "Yuu remarked. Maybe I'm just overthinking things for no reason. I'm just concerned about something I shouldn't be concerned about. "Hello," she says as she glances at us, but she avoids looking into Yuu's eyes, and Yuu avoids looking at her as well. Maybe something happened last night. I'm starting to believe it. Perhaps they had a quarrel or a brawl. "Did you have a squabble or a fight last night? Are you and him getting along? "I inquired.

Yuu didn't respond, so I'm guessing what I'm thinking is correct. "We are perfectly alright," Saki remarked after taking a long breath. "Right?" she asked, looking into Yuu's eyes. Yuu gave me a smile and said, "Yes, everything is good. We're friends, and I think it's natural for us to quarrel a lot, so don't worry about us. " .. They're lying, and I'm aware of it. Their remarks aren't sincere, and I'm sure they're only acting to get along. I suppose I could just go along with their play and disregard their personal feud; I believe that would be preferable. I also feel that I should not become involved in their personal issues, and that those matters should be kept between them. "That's fantastic news! Are you all ready? " I stated.

"Brother, we're always ready," he said. I believe everything is now ready. We'll compete in the Team Sky Wars to prove that we're the best team in the game. We just have to wait for Saki and Yuu to finish their breakfast. I suppose we can head to the gaming lobby now once they eat. They had already finished their meal within only a few minutes. Tori wears contact lenses to blend in with the crowd and hide her sinfulness. "Should we bring snacks so that we may eat something as we watch?" Tori was the one who inquired. "I think that's a great idea," I remarked. Tori walked to the kitchen to get some chips, which she then placed in her virtual inventory. "Everything is ready!" she exclaimed.

I went to the door to open it and give them the fighting spirit they needed for today. "Let's go, everyone, and let's do our best!", I said. They scream to demonstrate their joy and optimism. Today will be a good and memorable day. I open the door and notice that the birds in the sky aren't moving. "Isn't it strange that those birds aren't moving but are still flying? I guess it's just a virtual bug, "I said. No one responded to me, so I assumed they didn't hear what I said. People on the road aren't moving either. I tried to look at the trees, but the leaves that were about to fall aren't falling and are still in the air.

When I looked behind me, I noticed that they were completely still. Why am I the only one who is able to move? I began tapping Yuu and said, "Are you okay, Yuu? Hey, let's talk! " I stated. I look at Tori, Lyka, and Saki, and none of them are moving. It's as if everything in this world has been put on hold. Someone behind my back is hugging me, and her arms are wrapped around my neck. This sensation is all too familiar. It's similar to how I felt when I first arrived in this world, as if an angel was hugging me. "What is your name? Why is this happening, and why isn't anyone or anything moving? " I inquired calmly. "They'll be back to normal soon. I just wanted to take a moment to tell you something, "she stated.

I said, "Tell me what it is." I can't see her face, and she continues to hold me behind my back, so I'm not sure who this ghost is. "What happens today will have a significant impact on your life. I can't tell you exactly what it is, but everything is in your hands if you want to change your life's predetermined course. Please consider your options carefully when making today's choice, "she stated. "What do you mean?" I inquired. "Can you tell me what you're talking about?" Yuu approached me with a question. They began to stare at me with anxiety in their eyes. My friends resumed their movement when the lady vanished. She didn't finish her sentence, but she did give a warning. "Takahashi, are you alright? Your hands are freezing and you're sweating, "Tori asked. Should I tell them that we are abandoning our plan for the day? They left, and Yuu and I were the only ones left at the door. "Hey, we'll meet you outside!" Lyka yelled. "Are you still concerned? You can't lie to me because I can see you're thinking something. Let's make this a wonderful day for Lyka, and I hope you understand that we can't hold back because Lyka will leave tomorrow to return to her country. Don't be concerned; nothing bad will happen to Lyka or you because I am here. Nobody can hurt the two of you as long as I'm alive, so let's have some fun! " He stated.
