Vasha smiled warmly, almost sweetly as Paige stood straight. “Thank you. I am sorry to have bothered you.”
“It’s cool, girl. You look so familiar.” Vasha frowned.
“Does she?” Cade asked pulling Paige to his side.
“Hello, Kincaid. I didn’t expect to see you here.”
“Neither did I. Was this a coincidence?” He asked and her smile did not falter as she replied.
“Then what? You think I have been stalking you? College has been keeping me busy, even if I wanted to I wouldn’t have the time.”
“Is that right?” He did not believe that.
“Who is your friend?” Vasha asked politely
“Hello, I am Paige.” She answered in a tone that was strong and polite. Very unlike hers. It surprised Cade enough that he turned to her and was impressed by the look on her face.
