Paige opened her eyes slowly, feeling like there was something she did not want to face. Her eyes met the usual things, her curtains, the window and sun streaking in. She checked the alarm beside her and saw it was half past seven. She frowned wondering how she had forgotten to set her alarm for work when she remembered she was not working anymore.
