She tried to stay awake. She jumped on the spot, chugged down several cups of water, and cleaned her already spotless room then the living room but they did not help much. She tried to add more to her painting but she was feeling stuck and went to sit by the window just to get some air. She had no idea when lids shut and her consciousness was removed.
Her eyes flittered open and she immediately sensed a presence in the room. She sat up quickly panicked but the person made no move to turn even though the stiffening of his shoulders told her that he clearly heard her. “This is beautiful.” Cade’s voice said with awe and she immediately relaxed when she realized it was him.
“When did you get here?” She wondered frowning at the bed. He must have tucked her in.
“About 10 minutes ago.” He answ
