Emily's POV
I woke up very happy the next day, eager to go meet Berton in his room, greet him and ask when he would be coming to see me or if I should do it myself. I knew we had to continue with the treatment and it was already already the time he'd come by yesterday.
I got dressed quickly, choosing a simple outfit of jeans and a blouse, then headed towards his room. I was full of nerves as I approached and that's when I remembered I hadn't put on my perfume. I quickly ran back to my room and applied some before heading back.
